Change Router's Management Port to a Different Port

If you have a device which required to be on port 80 connecting from the outside over the Internet, and port 80 is normally the router's management interface by default. Then you need to change the router's management interface port to use another, perhaps port 81.

To change the router's management port login to http://192.168.1.254 (default).

Advance > Configuration > Advance > Device Management (see below).




After you have changed the HTTP port then click on 'Apply', then you have save the setting (see below).


The click on the 'Restart' on the bottom right side of the screen, then choose to resart 'Current' settings option. Once the resart is completed you can login to router's web GUI http://192.168.1.254:81 and from the Internet http://whateverURL.com:81.
